About this report
- How are these figures worked out?
- Each figure is a median: half of the homes sold for more and half for less. HDB figures cover every resale registered in October 2026; price per square foot divides each price by the flat's floor area. Private figures cover sales of non-landed homes with a contract date in October 2026. Each change compares the month with September 2026.
- Where does the data come from?
- HDB resale flat prices (data.gov.sg) and URA REALIS private residential transactions. Homejourney imports both and rebuilds this page daily.
- Why can the private figures still change?
- Private sales are recorded with URA weeks after the sale. This page has private sales up to 18 Oct 2026, so its private figures will change as later October 2026 sales arrive.
- How do I cite this report?
- Homejourney, "Singapore property prices, October 2026", https://www.homejourney.sg/reports/singapore-property-prices/october-2026. Please link to this page when you quote a figure.
