Home-service providers
Homejourney keeps 15% of each home-service job's price (8% on an eligible repeat booking, when the same customer books the same business again within 12 months of a completed job), and the business keeps the rest. The take-home is payable 14 days after the job is marked done and the customer's payment is collected, on the next Tuesday or Friday payout date; an owner or manager confirms the payout in Homejourney Business and Stripe pays it to the business's bank account. The customer's booking fee and Homejourney promotions never reduce it, and any Stripe payout fee is listed on the statement. On a S$100 job, Homejourney keeps S$15 and the business gets S$85. There is no subscription to join or to use Homejourney Business. See what Homejourney keeps, and when you get paid.
8. Intellectual Property Rights
- The Homejourney platform, including its logo, design, text, graphics, and other content created by Homejourney, is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.
- You may not copy, modify, create derivative works, publicly display or perform, sell, or exploit any content from the Services without explicit permission.
- If you believe content on our platform infringes your copyright, please contact us with details of the alleged infringement.
9. Privacy and Data Protection
- Your use of Homejourney is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
- We comply with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) in Singapore regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data.
- We implement appropriate security measures to protect personal data under our control.
10. Limitation of Liability
- Homejourney provides the Services on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind.
- We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content or listings.
- We are not responsible for any loss or damage resulting from your use of the Services or any transactions conducted through our platform.
- We are not liable for any disputes between users, including between property seekers and agents.
- Our maximum liability for any claim arising from the use of our Services shall not exceed the amount you paid to us, if any, in the preceding six months.
11. Indemnification

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Singapore. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Services shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Singapore.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.
PART B: HOME SERVICES TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Terms for booking home services, such as aircon servicing, cleaning and pest control, from service providers through Homejourney.
1. WHO DOES WHAT
- 1.1 Homejourney runs a marketplace where independent businesses offer home services. Homejourney does not perform the services itself. The service provider named on your booking does the job with its own staff and equipment, and its price is the price shown on the booking.
- 1.2 When you book, your contract for the service is with the named service provider. These Part B terms, together with Part A, are your agreement with Homejourney for arranging the booking, taking payment for it and handling any problem with it.
- 1.3 Homejourney may choose the service provider for your booking from the vetted providers able to do the job at the time you pick. Before you confirm, the booking shows you the provider's name and the total you will pay.
Definitions:
- (a) Customer or you: the person who books a home service through Homejourney.
- (b) Provider: the independent business named on a booking that performs the service.
- (c) Booking: a request for a service, made through Homejourney's website, apps or AI connections, for a scope, price, address and time.
- (d) Service Price: the price of the service shown on the booking, including GST where the Provider charges it.
- (e) Booking Fee: Homejourney's fee for arranging the booking, shown separately before you confirm.
2. BOOKINGS
- 2.1 Each service's page shows what the service includes and excludes. The Provider does the work in that scope.
- 2.2 A booking is confirmed when a Provider accepts it. If no Provider accepts it in time, the booking closes and you are not charged.
- 2.3 Extra work, add-ons or parts outside the booked scope need a separate price that you approve in Homejourney before the work is done.
3. PRICES AND PAYMENT
- 3.1 Prices are in Singapore dollars. You pay the Service Price and the Booking Fee, and Homejourney shows both before you confirm. There is no separate card surcharge.
- 3.2 Homejourney takes payment for the booking on the Provider's behalf through its payment processor, Stripe, and pays the Provider its share after the job. Paying Homejourney settles what you owe the Provider for that booking.
- 3.3 Your card is not charged when you book. Homejourney may place a temporary hold on it before the service, and charges it after the Provider records the job as done. Where you pay by PayNow, Homejourney tells you when payment is due before you confirm.
- 3.4 If your payment method fails before the service, Homejourney asks you to update it, and may cancel the booking without charge if it is still not paid 24 hours before the start. If payment for a completed job fails, the amount remains due and Homejourney may try the charge again.
4. KEEPING A BOOKING ON HOMEJOURNEY
- 4.1 While a booking is open, you and the Provider may contact each other directly to arrange access and timing. A booking is open until the job is done or cancelled, payment and any refund are final, the 48-hour reporting period in section 8 has passed, and any problem report is resolved.
- 4.2 While a booking is open, every price change, add-on, reschedule, cancellation, refund and payment for that job goes through Homejourney. Neither you nor the Provider may ask for or accept payment for that job outside Homejourney.
- 4.3 Once a booking has closed, you are free to deal with the Provider directly. Work you arrange outside Homejourney is between you and the Provider, and Homejourney's payment record, support and section 8 do not cover it.
5. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
- 5.1 You give an accurate address, scope and contact details, and access to the premises at the booked time. Where the service needs it, someone aged 18 or over is present.
- 5.2 You tell the Provider in advance about anything that affects the work or its safety, such as hazards, pets, allergies or items that must not be touched.
- 5.3 You keep the workplace safe and treat the Provider's staff with respect. Homejourney may refuse or cancel bookings, and suspend accounts, for abuse, harassment or unsafe conditions.
6. SERVICE PROVIDERS
- 6.1 Each Provider is an independent business, not Homejourney's employee. It employs or engages its own staff and is responsible for their pay, CPF, leave, work passes and work injury compensation insurance.
- 6.2 Homejourney requires each Provider to hold at least S$1 million public liability insurance and the licences its services need, and checks the policies and licences each Provider gives it.
- 6.3 The Provider is responsible for the quality and safety of its work and for loss or damage its staff cause.
7. CANCELLATION AND RESCHEDULING
- 7.1 For all services, the Customer must notify Homejourney of any cancellation through our app, website or WhatsApp. Cancelling before a Provider accepts the booking is free. Each service provider publishes its own cancellation window, shown on the booking before payment and kept with the booking. A cancellation inside that window is a last-minute cancellation.
- 7.2 If the Provider's staff arrive and cannot do the job because no one lets them in, or because the premises are not safe to work in under section 5, it counts as a last-minute cancellation.
- 7.3 For a last-minute cancellation, Homejourney charges the cancellation fee in the provider's terms shown on the booking, never more than the quoted price (inclusive of GST). The app shows the fee before the Customer confirms. Where a booking shows no provider cancellation terms, cancelling before the service starts is free. Homejourney does not keep the Booking Fee on a cancelled booking.
- 7.4 If the Provider cancels or does not turn up, you pay nothing. Homejourney refunds anything already charged, including the Booking Fee, or, if you agree, finds another Provider at the same price.
- 7.5 A reschedule is requested through Homejourney and takes effect once the Provider accepts the new time. A change to the scope, address or timing that changes the price needs your approval first.
- 7.6 A booking is always charged under the cancellation terms shown when it was made.
8. PROBLEMS WITH A SERVICE
- 8.1 If a job is incomplete, defective, not what was booked, or causes damage, report it through the app, the website or [email protected] within 48 hours of the job being marked done, with photos or other evidence where you have them. This reporting period does not limit your rights under Singapore law, claims for defects that appear later, or a longer warranty for the service.
- 8.2 The Provider gets the first chance to respond and, where it can, to fix the problem within three business days at a time you agree. Fixing work within the booked scope costs you nothing more.
- 8.3 Homejourney may deal with the problem directly instead, for example for safety, harassment, fraud, repeated failure, a Provider who cannot be reached, or loss of trust.
- 8.4 The outcome may be a completed fix, a partial or full refund, a replacement Provider, or a decision with reasons that no remedy is due. Homejourney may hold the Provider's payment for that booking until the report is resolved.
- 8.5 There is no single warranty for all services. Where a service comes with a warranty, such as on aircon work, its details on Homejourney or the Provider's terms say how long it lasts and what it covers.
9. LIABILITY
- 9.1 The Provider is liable to you for the service and for loss or damage caused by its staff, and claims for such loss go to the Provider and its insurer. Homejourney helps you make such a claim through section 8.
- 9.2 Homejourney is responsible for arranging the booking, taking and refunding payment, and handling problem reports as these terms say. To the extent the law allows, Homejourney's total liability for a booking is limited to the amount you paid for it, and Homejourney is not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
- 9.3 Nothing in these terms limits any liability, or any right you have, that Singapore law does not allow to be limited.
10. PERSONAL DATA
- 10.1 Homejourney gives the Provider only what it needs to do the job, such as your name, address, contact details and the booking details. The Provider may use them only for that booking and its follow-up.
- 10.2 Homejourney handles your personal data under the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 and its Privacy Policy.
11. DISPUTES
- 11.1 Please contact Homejourney first, through the app or [email protected], so the problem can be resolved under section 8.
- 11.2 If it is not resolved, you may bring a claim in the Small Claims Tribunals or the courts of Singapore. These terms are governed by Singapore law.
12. EVENTS OUTSIDE ANYONE'S CONTROL
- 12.1 Neither Homejourney nor the Provider is liable for a delay or failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control, such as severe weather, a pandemic or government orders. If a booking cannot go ahead because of such an event, you may cancel it free, with a full refund.
13. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
- 13.1 Homejourney may change these terms by publishing a new version on this page. A change applies to bookings made after it is published; a booking you have already made keeps the terms, prices and cancellation terms shown when you made it.
- 13.2 If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
PART C: VALUATION PARTNER TERMS
Version 2026.10. Terms for showing Homejourney valuation estimates on your own website or app through the valuation widget or the Platform API. Using a widget key or the valuation API means you accept them.
1. Free Licence
Homejourney lets you show its valuation estimates on your website or app, free, through the valuation widget or the Platform API. We can withdraw this at any time.
2. Attribution
Every estimate you show keeps "Estimate by Homejourney" with its link, and the disclaimer, unchanged. The widget does this for you.
3. No Resale
Do not sell, license or charge for estimates, or put them in a paid data product.
4. Storage
Do not keep an estimate for more than 30 days or build a database of estimates.
5. No Bulk Collection
No scraping, automated bulk lookups, or getting around per-key limits.
6. Not a Valuation
Estimates are automated, not a licensed valuer's valuation. Do not present them as one or as advice for a loan, sale or legal decision.
7. Your Keys
Bind keys to your own sites. You are responsible for use under your keys.
8. Enforcement
We may change limits, or suspend or revoke a key at any time, at once on a breach. We may update these terms; using a key after notice means you accept them.
9. As Is
Estimates come with no warranty, and to the extent the law allows, Homejourney is not liable for decisions made on them.
