Notification Problems

Not receiving notifications? Here's how to fix it:

Step 1: Check Device Settings
iPhone:

  • 1. Settings > Notifications > Homejourney

  • 2. Enable "Allow Notifications"

  • 3. Turn on Banners, Sounds, and Badges
  • Android:

  • 1. Settings > Apps > Homejourney > Notifications

  • 2. Enable "Show notifications"

  • 3. Enable all notification categories
  • Step 2: Check In-App Permissions

  • 1. Open Homejourney app

  • 2. You may see a notification permission prompt

  • 3. Tap "Allow" to enable notifications
  • Step 3: Other Checks

  • Ensure Do Not Disturb mode is off

  • Check you're logged into the app

  • Make sure you have a stable internet connection

  • Try logging out and back in
  • Types of Notifications:

  • Booking confirmations and reminders

  • Provider assignment updates

  • Service completion notifications

  • Promotional offers (can be disabled)
  • Still not receiving notifications? Try uninstalling and reinstalling the app.
